Kansas City Underground Film Festival Community Response
Kansas City, what are your thoughts on InterGeneration? I’d love to hear your responses to the film. Though specific to Boston, how does InterGeneration apply to you and your community? Here are some questions to consider, but any thoughts are welcome:
With which InterGeneration participant did you most connect and why?
When hearing memories of Boston, what personal memories of Kansas City or surrounding communities emerged for you?
What memories emerged of the elders in your life?
Did you think of a particular youth after viewing the film? What are the hopes you have for that youth and how can the city meet their needs?
Community health (public/personal health, mental, physical, and spiritual health) is a big theme running throughout the film. How does Kansas City excel in community health and how can the city improve? What role can intergenerational connection play in public health?
After viewing multiple animated films, what is your thought on the possibilities of animation as a personal art form and as an educational tool?
