Today is Thanksgiving. As I prepared a large feast for my family, I reflected upon the work of my friend, Robert Peters, the Mashpee Wampanoag poet and painter. He participated in InterGeneration, sharing his beautiful art with us.

Kansas City, what are your thoughts on InterGeneration? I’d love to hear your responses to the film. Though specific to Boston, how does InterGeneration apply to you and your community?

My work with the teens began in April 2020—at the start of quarantine. Zoom was a foreign experience to most. The anxiety from the pandemic ran high. We needed a grounding exercise to remotely gather and to ignite our creativity.
